# A geopolítica e os desafios para o agronegócio

***As mudanças recentes na geopolítica trazem desafios para o agronegócio e é preciso estar preparado para agir estrategicamente nesse novo cenário***

 O agronegócio global está se transformando rapidamente, impulsionado por mudanças geopolíticas, demandas crescentes por sustentabilidade e a necessidade de adaptação a novos padrões comerciais. O programa combina conhecimento teórico e relatos práticos, oferecendo uma possibilidade de imersão nas dinâmicas geopolíticas do mundo contemporâneo e uma oportunidade de debater, diretamente com seus negociadores, cases emblemáticos do mercado internacional.

 Considere, a seguir, cinco estratégias essenciais para garantir que o agronegócio não apenas sobreviva, mas exerça protagonismo no mercado internacional. As soluções convergem para a adoção indispensável de práticas colaborativas e sustentáveis.

 **Adaptação às Dinâmicas Geopolíticas**

 O cenário internacional está instável, com conflitos armados significativos e crescentes tensões entre grandes potências resultando em sanções econômicas e barreiras comerciais, que dificultam os negócios. A chamada Guerra Fria 2.0 está forçando países a se posicionarem em relação às tensões, muitas vezes levando a contingenciamentos de mercados, como é o caso das ameaças tarifárias alardeadas por Trump.

 Essa instabilidade internacional exige que as empresas do agronegócio adotem uma postura flexível e estrategicamente neutra nos seus relacionamentos comerciais. Para garantir que o Brasil continue se relacionando com todos os países, é essencial desenvolver estratégias de contingência e diversificar os mercados de exportação. Isso pode ser feito acompanhando de perto as políticas internacionais e estabelecendo diálogos contínuos com o governo para uma abordagem diplomática que apoie o setor privado e não gere incertezas.

 
- **Expansão no Mercado Asiático**

 O mercado asiático tem um vasto potencial de consumo, concentrando 60% dos habitantes e cerca de 40% do PIB (Produto Interno Bruto) globais. Além disso, registrou a maior redução da pobreza dos últimos 30 anos, segundo o Banco Mundial. Nesse mercado em desenvolvimento, muitos países regionais ainda possuem restrições comerciais aos produtos agrícolas brasileiros. “Após anos de disputas na OMC, o Brasil só conseguiu abrir o mercado de frango na Indonésia em 2019”, exemplifica Ibañez.

 Nesse cenário, empresas devem investir em melhorias de qualidade e certificações que atendam aos padrões desses mercados. Trabalhar em parceria com entidades governamentais, promover feiras e missões comerciais são medidas essenciais para abrir novos mercados e fortalecer a presença brasileira. Foco na construção de relacionamentos de longo prazo e adaptação às preferências culturais locais facilitará a entrada de produtos brasileiros.

 
- **Fortalecimento da Diplomacia Comercial**

 A diplomacia brasileira possui uma expertise consolidada, especialmente no setor agrícola. Os diplomatas brasileiros têm excelente formação e profundo conhecimento dos mercados e das instituições internacionais, como a Organização Mundial do Comércio (OMC), que podem facilitar a abertura de novos mercados e lutar contra barreiras ou favorecimentos indevidos. Além disso, eles participam ativamente de reuniões de blocos econômicos e possuem conhecimento detalhado das especificidades de importantes parceiros comerciais, como a União Europeia e a ASEAN (Associação de Nações do Sudeste Asiático).

 A expertise da diplomacia brasileira deve ser melhor aproveitada pelo setor privado. Empresas do agronegócio precisam estabelecer canais de comunicação e cooperação com diplomatas, utilizando seus conhecimentos para penetrar em mercados difíceis e resolver barreiras comerciais. A colaboração entre setor privado e governo é fundamental para complementar esforços, recursos e expertises. Pressionar por uma maior integração da agricultura nas determinações de política externa e comercial do Brasil também é crucial. “Um dos caminhos é aumentar o papel do Mercosul na agricultura, como foro de concertação e atuação internacional dos países da região, para determinar posições comuns e exercer influência no âmbito multilateral”, afirma Ibañez.

 
- **Estratégias Sustentáveis e Inovação Ambiental**

 A questão ambiental é um ponto de destaque nos mercados globais, especialmente na Europa e, cada vez mais, na Ásia. O Brasil tem uma posição dúbia nessa área, apresentando dados favoráveis, como o uso de energia limpa, mas também taxas preocupantes de desmatamento na Amazônia e no Cerrado. A inserção de produtos agrícolas em mercados externos depende, em grande parte, da capacidade de atender às exigências ambientais e de lidar com a visão que países e compradores têm do Brasil. Também há uma corrida por posicionamento na economia verde, que pode ditar uma nova era de industrialização e serviços no mundo. Nesse caso, eficiência no uso de recursos naturais, economia circular e bioeconomia são requisitos estratégicos.

 Empresas do agronegócio devem alinhar-se com os padrões internacionais de sustentabilidade e investir em inovação. “É fundamental que as empresas do agronegócio não apenas melhorem sua imagem, mas validem cientificamente métodos de produção sustentável, contribuindo para a defesa da agricultura tropical em fóruns internacionais,” afirma Patrícia Cota, diretora executiva adjunta do Imaflora, fundador do Cacuí. Além disso, é crucial pressionar por políticas públicas que incentivem práticas sustentáveis e o combate ao desmatamento, garantindo que as práticas adotadas sejam reconhecidas e valorizadas internacionalmente. Na nova economia verde, há oportunidades de criar e expandir cadeias de bioprodutos, para mercados locais e internacionais, que requerem tecnologia aplicada e marketing assertivo.

 
- **Diversificação de Moedas e Mercados**

 As trocas comerciais estão cada vez mais diversificadas em termos de moedas, afastando-se da predominância do dólar. A instabilidade das moedas ocidentais, aliada ao aumento dos juros nos EUA, tem levado China e Rússia a utilizarem suas moedas locais para o comércio. Esse fenômeno é particularmente notável na Ásia e representa uma tendência clara de médio e longo prazo.

 É vital que as empresas do agronegócio desenvolvam competências em transações multimoedas. Realizar acordos comerciais que incluam moedas locais de mercados emergentes pode diminuir a exposição à volatilidade do dólar. Além disso, investir em sistemas financeiros que suportem essa diversidade cambial e buscar orientação sobre regulamentações financeiras globais são medidas favoráveis às novas dinâmicas econômicas.
